A Reason Why

Sometimes we laugh when we really want to cry;
Sometimes we run as we're saying good-bye.
If we challenge our hearts and our minds,
We will find the real reason why.
Sometimes we give when we really want to take;
Sometimes we hold on to that which is easy to break.
If we challenge our minds, we'll find the reason why.
Now I have found in you a reason to give;
I feel inside a reason to live.
The sunshine is forever, full midnight skies;
Like touching a clear blue heaven,
I found a reason why.
There will be times when I will laugh;
There will be times when I will cry.
But, now things will be different;
Now I know the reason why.
